Wikis are open to anyone to add or edit information about a specific topic. Take wikipedia for example. Now in technology you don't have to know HTML codes to participate. I liked the Princeton Library wiki the best it was professional looking and gave relevant information.
However because it is so open and free how relevant is the information - certainly it is not proof read by a professional- I guess the old saying is true don't believe everything you read.
